he only pays 5% tax in Spain.. they'd have to pay him so much fucking money, and they probably can't afford him.
I watch Madrid alot.. he is one of their best players, they'll kick out Ronaldo and Zidane, but not him. They get 50% of his image rights aswell, that makes them alot of money.
