I have a hard time believing it.
I like to download stuff first and then determine if it's worth it to buy.
I don't go into record stores listening to CD's I rather download them
listen to them and if I like them I'll order the original online. Same with
movies and same with software. The prices they charge these days I
want to make sure if I'm willing to spend money on it. If I don't like it,
I delete/uninstall it. I don't see any harm in that. I don't like unpleasant
suprises, certainly not when I have paid for it.

That's all great, but for example:
"I am so slow I only just figured out what a torrent was a few days ago. Withing hours I had 9 full albums and a dvd that is still showing at the cinema.
Slowly learning to love it."
Do you honestly think this person will go to the store to buy those 9 albums now? and then on the way back will stop by a movie theater to watch the movie he just downloaded?
I'm not holier than pope, but I just don't think that these kinds of discussions are appropriate on a business board.
