Yes, standing up to save ones sorry ass from jailtime and being arrogant and ignorant certanly pardons a person for directly causing thuosands of brutal deaths, burning down thousands of homes, destroying countless famillies and setting a handful of countries decades back causing wounds that will take years and years to even start healing.
