Well, if it makes you feel better, I'll admit that on one occasion I actually managed to put the water in the coffee maker as well as the coffee filter (how I forgot the coffee itself is beyond me). The worst part is that since there was still a tiny amount of coffee left in the pot from the night before and I was drinking out of a black coffee cup, I didn't even realize my mistake until I was pouring my second cup
