Unfortunately the world is still very sexist today. For example, I live with my bf, and for some reason the manager here put the electricity/trash bill in HIS name,
while it is ME who pays like 70% of the bills, I am the one who is in charge of the finaces, It should be in MY name, but oh no they assume just because he's a guy he must be the "head of household"
I went and told her straight that it should be in my name. Anyways, it's kinda weird for me to make payments on it if it's in someone else's name. Its also a respect thing, AT LEAST put in BOTH our names, not just HIS.
Because I'm a woman don't assume my boyfriend makes more than me (which he doesnt) and don't assume that he's the head of household (which he is not) everything is 50/50 around here!

They just ASSUMED that it should be in his name, and it made me LIVID. It's like a slap in the face when I'm the one paying for everything. AT least show me some fucken respect.
