depends on what format you are outputting to.
for film avid is the way to go.
For dvd or TV I prefer mac but I have a PC running premiere pro 1.5.1 strictly for encoding to wmv-hd
currently there is no way to output wmv-hd from a mac. Both cleaner and flip4mac say they can...but it never works properly.
