Smoking is a sick habit and I've just never understood why people give in to it knowing the potential consequences. I've always viewed smokers as weak people, they knowingly are destroying their bodies yet are unable to alter their behavior. Also, to those who think its ok to just smoke sparingly, there was a recent long term study that concluded even smoking 5 cigs a day could reduce your life expectency by up to 10 years.

I agree, it is a terrible habit, and one that should be outlawed.
After 23 years of smoking, I am 3 months smoke free. I quit in December, and went through Internext and AVN as a non smoker.
The thought of being mortal finally hit me, wanting to be here for my kids when they go to college, get married, have kids, whatever is more powerful than wanting to smoke.
Good luck to those quitting, it was hard the first month, alot of physical cravings for a smoke, now it's just mental, which I'm told will never really go away.
