problem is, Iran knows they can keep a big mouth. The risk of invasion is near 0 with the "failure" in iraq. They also know that the us or isreal hardly will have the guts to bomb their plants in fear of fucking up in the middle east (face it, us needs oil and isreal needs peace)
Iran and its fucked up leader Ahmadinejad isn't strong with its people, but they have a strong position in the middle east. Cash is running in fast due to oil, saddam is gone, so is taliban and iran supported groups are grabbing power in both libanon (hizbollah), palestina (hamas) and Syria (bashar assads). They are currently superior in the region and they know it.
Don't let this post lead you to the belief that I support that fucked up country. Their crimes again humany is just plain awful - support Amnesty International and Humans Rights Watch. Nothing would please me more than to see Ahmadinejad getting a leg chopped off (commong punishment for "creating public fear") and see him slowly hang from a crane in public (common punishment for stuff like "enemy of god" or perhaps decided by the victims family (gisas principle)...
