My girlfriend Julie came out for a little visit this past weekend and we took a trip up to Vail for some snow mobiling and snow boarding. We went snow mobiling the first day and at one point we were up over 13,000 feet where the views were truly incredible. It's a good thing we saved snow boarding for the second day because it was our first time and my ass is still sore as hell. Let me just make a suggestion for anyone taking snow boarding lessons for the first time: Strap a pillow to your ass!
