If you come from Austria I'd like to ask you a few questions about your local banks, like which banks do you recommend for cashing checks and why...

I opened an account at BAWAG and they said they will charge a 0.375%/amount comission. Then I heard Volksbank has 0.25%. Then another person said there's only a ? 1.00/check.

Now I am totally confused and would need some advice.
