For those of you wondering what I'm talking about, Chicago is easily one of the coldest cities in America! The combination of being in the northern midwest and being located on the lake make it incredibly cold. Winter temps of -20 below are common! It also gets very windy so the nickname given to that ice cold breeze that hits you and goes directly through your clothes is 'The Hawk.'
