I'm not sure how "specific" you will consider this, but I think it is going to be the main stumbling block of adult RSS feeds.

I'm sure many affiliates will jump mindlessly on the bandwagon as always, but in search engine terms, it is death for a blog to display exactly the same content as other blogs. It isn't great from the point of view of grabbing surfers' attention either and also limits the ability to do things such as exchange traffic. To maximize the value of RSS feeds for everyone concerned, the sites using them need to be able to aggregate (combine) and mix feeds from different sources.

In the mainstream world, particularly in the area of newsfeeds, several major providers have adopted a common format, such that once you have your head around the technicalities of aggregation, generating that mix is easy. But so far, everyone in adult is going in totally their own direction.

Which, assuming you want your site to work well, means the best an affiliate can do is put a few feeds from one sponsor in this spot and a few feeds from someone else in another, which very quickly tends to produce a hard-to-navigate, unattractive patchwork of bits and pieces.

But since the only common element I have found in the RSS feeds available so far is the URL back to the source material, the only way to mix them would be to replace all the other fields with generic entries of my own, in much the way some TGP's list teen gallery, hardcore gallery, etc.

That is a huge waste of the potential value of RSS feeds and however much it goes against the grain, IMO sponsors who want to get the most out of them are going to have to agree on at least the core elements of the feeds they want affiliates to use. If they don't, most RSS feeds will turn out to be a bigger disappointment than hosted galleries have been to date.
