I posted something that was actually meant to be a joke about my wife. I'll be the first to admit that I have a warped sense of humour that some people don't always get.
The guy let it be known in no uncertain terms that he wasn't happy about what I said. There were no threats or name calling (you CAN be pissed and maintain your class at the same time) but it was plainly clear that he took great issue with what I said.
I thought he misunderstood how I meant the post in question, and to be honest, hindsight being 20/20 I probably shouldn't have posted it to begin with. When I went back and reread it, I could see how it could be taken the wrong way. I legitimately felt bad that he could take what I said as a personal attack on someone close to him. So, I had NO problem hitting him up off the board and apologizing personally and assuring him I would never do something like that intentionally.
We've had drinks since. End of story.
