Well said on most points. The reality is however that no one in the legislative or judicial branch is gonna bitch because they themselves reap profits from the corruption going on. If memory serves, the Kennedy family still gets like 10% of all booze sales coming in from scotch overseas. That's just the tip of the iceberg. To put out a huge investigation and beat down all get out bust of all those who were negligent and compliant would cause such a massive disruption of commerce that no one is going to do it. Fuck all of us if we're grieving or in danger, what's important to the psychotics we've allowed to represent us is MONEY and POSITION.
Bottom fucking line.
Could we have solved the Kennedy assassination? Sure! But it would have fucked up more money and business.
Could we have stopped the Vietnam War before it turned into a quagmire? Sure, but it would have fucked up lots of money and power.
Alternate fuels, stem cell medical breakthroughs, cures for fat ass? Sure, but those actions would fuck up lots of money for really psychotic and stupid people.
The only fly in the ointment? Used to be honest journalists but forget that! Far, far too many crusading journalists who risked life and limb to help the people and got blacklisted, killed or broke. Didn't see the public they just rescued flying to their aide to help that crusading journalist either.
Fuck the doomed.
No one is going to stick their neck out for mankind any-fucking-more. Why? Because people are short memoried and ungrateful. Given half the chance they'll fuck over their own kin for any number of dumbass reasons.
As blatant as the greed machine that assimilated Bush is and FUBARed the world, you won't see anybody doing jack shit about it because no one wants to DIE or go broke.
The only chance was for The People to stand up and bitch. It would take the U.S. population 72 hours to change all this by just good ol' fashioned protests and bitchin' and complainin' and boycotting. But you won't see it cause they're too busy getting drunk, taking psychiatric drugs to chill them out, lying, stealing and planning ill will.
