So it's time for me to buy a laptop, well a better way to put it would be a mobile desktop. Something to take from my house, to the office, and on travels and what not.
I know that most people have centrion setups (pentium mobile processors) and i'm wondering if you ever find that to not be enough power? Using photoshop and the like?
I'm looking at laptops on

www.alienware.com and you can get a laptop with a full blown p4 desktop processor with an ass whoopin vidcard and nice 17" 1920x1200 display. battery life is 2-3 hours vs. 3-4 hours with the centrino setup.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
