Ive had a history of migraines, and I sometimes get ones as bad as the one your son encoutered. The best thing to do is make an appointment with a good neurologist and start to set up a treatment plan. A lot of migraines can be avoided by lifestyle changes (staying away from chocolate, caffiene, etc), because these are potential migraine triggers. He may also be prescribed medication specific to migraines that may be taken at the onset of a migraine. Hope this helps!
