Definitely amateur.
The whole 'Waiting-for-my-next-paycheck' facial expression on most (most, not all, of course) pro models is a real turn-off IMO. The insipidly fake smile or 'come fuck me' look - forget it.
I like models with the approachable girl-next-door look. Someone you can identify with a little easier. Perhaps bump into them at the local grocery store or hockey arena. A minor flaw or two is also a good reality check.
A lot of photographers tend to think that shooting pro/glamour models is the epitome of good photography - the whole "She's gorgeous...therefore so are my photos" mentality. To me, a great photograph captures the subtle nuances and essence of a person. Some of the better and more erotic shots we've taken over the years are those shot after the model has stopped posing and is just relaxing and being herself.
