the 2 months to turn a profit is bullshit, I don't care how much of a whole in the wall the place is. Even if was a turnkey deal, you still have startup cost, intial inventory, payroll, etc... And if it is that much of a dive, then I doubt it will be grossing that much money. Unless you have a strip club or high scale NYC type club, you make your profit from volume of sales. The prices are pretty relative from bar to bar in a certain area, so volume is what makes money and if you are a whole in the wall you are not going to be making the volume needed to recoupe your investment in 2 months. How much did this guy invest? 5K ??
