Didn't your mumma tell you not to put you face up to the bird cage or breath in deeply when you were feeding the chooks. Bird flu has been around for eons. My favourite Budgy died from it.
It's just now the media have got hold of it and are running with it. I's amazing how many people get sucked in by Rupert Murdock and his bullshit news. (Sad, but the prick is Australian - Made me laugh when I heard Lachlan Murdock was camp as a row of tents. He even married Sara O'Hare to dispell the rumours...it didn't work. Him and Tom Cruise would make good bum chums).
