Some of the older ones are scary as fuck...and some of the newer ones are scary as fuck. There are good ones and bad ones in both the old and the new movies. If it scares the fuck outta me then I enjoy it whether it's Hitchcock or one of the newer movies.
I think most are running out of ideas and therefore end up being just another teenage slasher movie which sucks.
And Freddy vs Jason was just rediculous.
