only works on certain hardware at the moment, and that will most likely remain... you'll have to stick w/ configurations that mimic the x86 hardware that is in Apples own computers. right now this means Intel 915 chipsets, w/ some reports of semi-success on 945 and a couple others... you need a processor that is SSE2 enabled (and higher, SSE3) to get proper performance, and very limited in choice of graphics cards for now.

it will only get better though, once the new Powermac line finally surfaces we'll have OSX86 binaries showing up that are tailored for high-end systems and the party will really start... unfortunately for some though, you'll be pretty much married to Intel to play this game, Apple won't be coding hard support for AMD processors anytime soon w/ their Intel exclusive contract. too bad, as while i'm not a fan of AMD's regular consumer offerings running OSX86 on a dual/quad Opteron box would be damn nice..
