Bride's father pay for the wedding
My father didn't even pay child support when I was a kid so I'm not holding my breath for him to pay for my wedding, that will be the day...
If I wanted a fancy, expensive wedding I would pay for it MYSELF, I don't expect my parents or my boyfriend or his parents ( they would never pay
) to pay, just because I'm a girl doesn't mean I expect my family to pay for things for me, if I wanted a big wedding I would plan for it the way I wanted it, and probably pay for most of it myself and have my bf pitch in wherever he could, but I make more than him, so I probably would end up paying for more, which I don't mind.
Me and my bf are not the most sociable people, we don't like big gatherings and big fanfare. If we ever get married I think we'll elope somewhere and do it just the two of us without anyone there.
But whatever thing I want in life, I'll pay for it myself, I'm not holding my breath for anyone to pay anything for me. Actually I have A LOT of pride in always paying for myself, I've always paid my own way and don't expect ANYONE to pay for ANYTHING for me.
If I can't afford something I just won't get it/do it, no one needs to pay for ANYTHING for me, I'll live fine just without it.
