You said in an earlier thread that your thumbtip wasn't fitting because of your long fingers. By this looks of these pictures your thumbtip is actually TOO large for your hand, not too small.
The tip should NOT extend below the knuckle of your thumb. Otherwise, you can't bend your thumb inward toward your palm while pointing it directly ahead, which is the proper technique.
You might want to saw it off a little shorter and then smooth the edges from a distance with a lighter.
