Sure, sure, sure... if you want to consider preloading
every script on the system that you may or may not
use and shuffling them to handler a good method in
the real world of (make a perl script stay resident).

Go head... Mod_Perl is not ment for the same things
that FastCGI is. One should not hammer with a screw
driver.

Just go to the Real World Scenarios Implementation
section on the Perl docs sites and you will see for yourself
which works better for the scripts of this industry and
which works better for middleware to a database.
