life could evolve MUCH differently on another planet in different conditions...
Granted, intelligence, on earth usually goes along with a bipedal form, mostly because it's relative on the size of the brain... being on your hind legs leaves more place for the brain to grow, that's why we started evolving much faster after we started walking on 2 legs instead of 4...the head slowly drifted from: tied to the vertebral colubm (like small monkeys, cats, etc), to the position that it has now: standing on TOP of the column, which leaves a lot of place for the brain to grow....sure, that works on earth.... could be much different on another planet, under different conditions
