Those are just pranksters emulating the real thing, if there is a real thing.
They can tell the prank circles right away because the crops are bent over and have a sharp angle from stepping on them. The unexplainable have stems that are curved. You can't do that from stepping on them.
But the most unexplainable kind are where each individual stem has been partially blown out to make them fall over.
Also, "real" crop circles have a small level of radiation that can be detected around them. This is consistent with people who have claimed to have come into close contact with a flying UFO and then were diagnosed with radiation sickness.
