When we first moved to Memphis several years ago we were at a party with the people I work with and an interesting conversation started. I was shocked to find there were 3 people there, 3 people who I considered very together, intelligent and succesful that swore to seeing UFO's. Two of these people were husband and wife, I worked with her and knew her to be a very reserved and educated person and her husband was the president of security for First Tennessee bank (IT security) both insisted seeing a UFO one night while out driving. He wouldn't talk much about it, and knew others were thinking he was crazy for making such a statement but he fully believed he had seen something from another planet. She was much more vocal about it. The other person also at this party was the Vice Presidents wife of my IT department (a fortune 100 company at the time) she is also the VP of IT for another large local business here. She too swore she had seen a UFO at one point. Personally I don't believe in such a thing, but I do have an open mind and listened and asked lots of questions. They were all convinced, and I left the party thinking WTF just happened.
