Because Trillian is also free but you can have ICQ, MSN, Yahoo, IRC and AIM on it all at once. If you use more than one program, you should be using Trillian to save resources. It is really nice. I use it at the office cause I have MSN, ICQ and Yahoo on. At home, I just use MSN so I don't bother using Trillian for that.
