also the laster doesnt cut a flap in your eye its and actualy blade that does it

Erm, what are you talking about Willis?
LASIC and LASEK are 2 different procedures.
LASIC is where they use a blade to cut a flap, and use a laser to shape it.
LASEK is where they use a solution to loosen the flap, and move the whole damn thing over, use the laser, then move it back.
No blade is used, because its too thin, it would risk damaging the remaining cornea.
LASIC is the most popular, LASEK isnt.
LASIC there is basically little to no downtime, LASEK there is between 3 and 5 weeks before you can drive again, generally.
