I've heard of people who end up far-sighted after a few years (needing glasses or contacts once again)...or their eyes get worse. Then there's the issue of problems when driving at night. Like most others here, I overuse my eyes. Contacts have always been a breeze for me.

its new having the convienence of a laser
back in the 50's and 60's they did it with a knife and a somewhat steady hand never able to get it perfect but abler to make the person see much better
