I'm so, so tempted...but scared as Hell. Mom got it done, but only after she started having to wear bi-focals. I can still acheive 20/20 with contacts (blind as a bat without) so it would really suck if I had to shift my prescription in any major way.

Thus far the surgery seems to have a better track record than, say, VeriSign does on domain transfers...might just go ahead and take the risk in a few years. I do find myself getting really, REALLY tired of contacts/glasses.

But I'd hate to trade a minor inconvenience for a major one.
