the only way to be is to not let anyone get to you. be confident. be secure. be yourself. don't desire them. don't care either way. another person is an enhancement to your life and what you are and stand for, not a necessity. if you don't have a fear of being alone from time to time, you'll never be without. words to live by. too much emotion and not enough reality depletes their reason.
