Considering 80-90% of people buying porn are in the USA I feel its best to keep things in the USA, even if its on cogent its still going to be better than going all the way to Europe and back speed wise.
And when I say 80-90% I mean for paysites paying PPS. Most of Europe either doesn't have creditcards, is scared of using them or the billing companies CCbill & Epoch block most of them. Dunno but 80-90% of credit card orders on paysites which are the basis for PPS programs are still USA based. And any other ways of billing Europe usually =$2-5 once off per customer for the paysite owner nothing more. Other billing options suck plan and simple for Europe. Would be good to see that change.
Good to see bandwidth dropping elsewhere though, what can you get a 100mbit pipe for in Europe these days for?
