the time to get a lawyer was before you entered into an unwritten sales agreement. if you're in the US, the uniform commercial code will govern most of this (depending on the amount, i forget the threshhold).

call an attorney and ask if he can just give you a free phone consultation for a case that you're "about to need representation for".

honestly im quite sure he's going to tell you you're screwed. what kind of records do you have of the payments?

you gave her money orders, apparently, not checks - so you have little to no evidence you paid her.
