What you seem to forget is the UK paid for every gun, bullet and plane we had from the US. You wrote off the debt Germany had built up. And you only came into it after the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbour and we supported your war in the Pacific.
Look at who sold Hitler steel to build his Panzers. The US owes a lot of it's success to the second world war.
Remember it was World War 2 not European War 1
