I think it is sad that most of you misunderstood the article. altho I sincerely doubt half the posters read the thing.
Basically all mumbles(chretien) said was that *WE*, the western world are seen as too greedy by the poorer countries (we are greedy and it's a good thing in many ways) and that we walk all over the poor and attempt to dictate the way things are done all over the world without regard to how we affect the people.
As the USA is seen as the leader of the western world (rightfully, due to political and economical power) you got hit by some terrorists attempting to make a point.
As for Canada pulling troops from afghanistan - good. why should we be killed by americans? stupidest thing ever. if the Usa wants to run game in afghan, why did anyone else go help? Tell me the Usa NEEDS Canadian support - please.
what did we do? hit someone with a gun from *REALLY* far away? Please. like those 6 dead guys made a fuckin difference.
