Bad day on the slopes
Canadian Allison Forsyth's Olympic dreams came to an abrupt end on Monday after she became one of four women to crash during training for the women's downhill.
The Nanaimo, B.C., native suffered a torn ACL in her left knee and was airlifted to nearby Sestriere. Earlier in the day, American gold medal contender Lindsey Kildow crashed badly on her downhill training run moments after the defending Olympic champion of France was carried off the hill on a sled.
Wow bad luck! Three top contenders..out
