For this one, avoid talking about porn specifically as much as possible. Anti-porn people are anti-porn everything. Inject a mainstream element to this.
I would put an emphasis on two things here. First being the "how could anyone do THAT job?" aspect, and then the financial issue.
That will addresses every parents hope that their kid does something they can be happy doing, and also make a decent living in the process.
These are the points I would use...
1. Parents want their kids to be happy and also financially stable.
(time to drill home that there are jobs that some people actually like doing that other people wouldn't even think of doing)
2. For the sake of society, thankfully we have a workforce with very diverse interests. The average person will avoid scrubbing toilets, stocking shelves at 3 AM and working 12 hours a day in an office. Yet there are people who have chosen these professions on their own accord. They are doing jobs they feel comfortable doing, but others would avoid those same jobs and can't figure out why anyone would want to do them. Parents should feel comfort in knowing their kid is happy with their chosen profession.
(Now you have to explain that porn can be a real job. Again, insert a mainstream element to this.)
3. A lot of parents would be concerned if their kid became a garbage man, but then they may be surprised what their kid can actually make in that profession. That is very common. People often just assume that because they would NEVER do a job, that it MUST not pay very much either. Adult entertainment is no exception here. A successful star can make just as much, or more -- sometimes far, far more -- than a college graduate.
(Now repeat that it is the goal of parents for their kid to be happy at work and also financially stable, and they can get both of these in porn.)
