The second they throw a rock at a soldier they go from civilian to enemy. You dont fucking throw rocks at someone with an m16 people! They were not civilians, they were posing a threat to the troops and they were dealt with accordingly, welcome to war. If you are against he war you are obviousley going to side with the rock throwers. By your guys logic we shouldnt should insurgents either. Those kids are lucky they didnt get smoked, a kick in the nuts to warn you against throwing rocks at armed soldiers is a bajillion times more humane then what could have legaly happened. What if one of those rocks were to injure or kill one of those soldiers, would you side with the kids then? (actualy dont answer that, some of you probably would).
Also I must point out, that the insurgents often force young kids to act as human shield, and run suicide bombs into troops because they know that troops will be hesitant to hurt children.
The sad thing is if those soldiers would have just shot and killed them, there would be less of an uproar over this.
