Most common options are : WMV and MPEG (Hi and Low res-version of each).

A generic specification would be

Hi-res : 640x480 at 1100 kbps

Low-res : 320x240 at 300 kbps


But its all variable depending on your tastes.

Personnally, for trailers, I like to send them out at 640x480 and at 700 kbs, so the quality is good, but the download doesn`t take too much Bandwidth.




Oh, and don't forget, if you're exporting at 4:3 (640x480), make sure your pixel aspect ratio is at SQUARE PIXELS (not at 0.9 DV pixels), otherwise your video might look a bit squeezed.
