Well, your question is pretty vague.
We'd need to know WHAT are you putting on the web? Full scenes? trailers? etc.
And usually people like to give different options for people to view their clips.
Most common options are : WMV and MPEG (Hi and Low res-version of each).
A generic specification would be
Hi-res : 640x480 at 1100 kbps
Low-res : 320x240 at 300 kbps
But its all variable depending on your tastes.
Personnally, for trailers, I like to send them out at 640x480 and at 700 kbs, so the quality is good, but the download doesn`t take too much Bandwidth.
Oh, and don't forget, if you're exporting at 4:3 (640x480), make sure your pixel aspect ratio is at SQUARE PIXELS (not at 0.9 DV pixels), otherwise your video might look a bit squeezed.
