that's not going to be a problem. my ex-wife's family runs an isp down there..If that doesn't work, I can sign up with 2 other isp's. .but you're right, I didn't think about the costs for high speed. However, I've been a webmaster for two years and I'm still on dialup myself. and I'm successful enough to have the means to move out of the country...
And I know it sounds crazy and like a "dream" but I've been there and have seen it with my own two eyes. My ex-wife has been down there five times. When we went together, we stayed at the house of this lady who was a lawyer down there and who graduated from Howard University. She had her own driver, her own maid, and her own house watchman. We watched BET on satellite, drank beer, smoked weed (17 pre-rolled joints for ONE DOLLAR) and enjoyed the air conditioning.
I saw PLENTY of europeans down there living the good life. And not a lot of black americans. it's probably because black americans don't like to travel and want to believe any stereotype that they hear on television without seeing it for themselves.
I would really like to get some input from someone who has actually been on the continent of africa and is a current successful webmaster. Even better if there is one who is living in africa now.
