You should have your Hep shots, but for a few days in Jaco that's not necessary... Given Hep shots should be done 6 weeks before going to the country in question (2 weeks apart I think?), you're kind of out of luck if you don't have them. Personally I had my vaccinations done in Costa Rica (cheaper) like 2 months after arriving.
