Uh, not exactly the same. Every society has vigilantes or mob violence but in the Muslim Sharia (sic?) law unfaiful and slutty women get stoned by law, and approved by a judge even, not exactly the same thing. And then there are "honor killings" where by tradition the male relatives of a girl of "low morals" are obligated to kill her. Sorry I'll take the religious fanatics in the U.S. nutcases too but not usually stoning young girls at least.
