have you tried sitting up straight all day?
i know it sounds like im being a smartass..but i had the same issue...couldnt sleep properly woke up in pain..right around my shoulders and upper back. almost underneath my shoulderblades.
well my girl suggested i force myself to sit up and not eve use the back of the chair...and after just one day of doing it...i sleep better...i know sit on the edge of my seat...and keep my back straight
