*NOTE* I know this is my first time posting, but i think you should hear what i have to say. This story is purely an opinion that is based on the information collected by very well respected people in the IP industry.

Verio is not having connectivity problems or circuit problems, the circuit was cut off by Verio for non payment of a balance in excess of 200K.

If you remember when they were with level3 and had 18+ hours of downtime while they pulled a 2am move from level3 to network plus's facility. This time no servers have to be moved since they are not in the providers facility that they have possibly fucked. However they have severe latency since they do not have the capacity to handle the bw they have lost by verio shutting them down.

While they are cutting you a "deal" on hosting, they aren't even paying their upstreams. Profiting on the current downfall of the IP market because they realize a tier1 will not shut you off for months after you sign with them even if you dont pay.

Likewhoa is currently scrambling for bandwidth to replace the link shut down by verio. They may be able to convince verio to turn them back on tomorrow, but, my prediction, based on information provided by reliable sources is that they will turn up Yipes or WCG if they can get approved for credit.

Watch as this unfolds over the next 24 hours, and see if these predictions come true. Call Level3 , ask them about Likewhoa, Call Verio, ask them about LIkewhoa. Verio's NYC pop is just fine.

I know a lot of hate posts will come after this, but i haven't made up an ounce of this information, it is all based on information from many sources within the industry. I'm sure they will make it through this since there are many providers out there that would love even the chance at getting paid on bandwidth that they'll push, but can you trust this wont happen again?

Adios
