Maincrew is able to login to restart your services manually if root access is provided, notify you by SMS or call you when there is a problem that requires your immediate attention, or even call your datacenter to solve the problem or reboot. Price is $20/month per server.
But if your server is managed, it should be monitored as well. Don't cheap out on dedicated servers. Or check out vibehosting.com, they offer monitoring with response by default, good people.
