I'm not married, but been with the same ho for 5 years now.
I just cook her a great dinner and buy some flowers and spend the valentines day with her.. easy.
Birthday, same thing..except I buy her something she wants (luckily she's not into jewelry), so this year I'll get her an iPod.. how romantic is that.
My suggestion to your question is, get a bitch who isn't a materialistic slut.. but someone who cares for other aspects in life than those you can buy. I know this takes like 97% of the women out of the equation, but there's the 3% that are great.. and 0.00003% which are great + good looking.
