No you are missing the point.
1) No where in a Free society is it a requirement to have a GOOD reason to protest or boycott anything. People do it all the time and often for really pathetic and stupid ones.
2) It's not that
SOME of the muslims share the same religion. MUSLIM/ISLAM IS THE RELIGION.
The newspaper printed something that insulted the Islamic faith. Thefore they inulted ALL OF THE MUSLIMS ! There are NO borders involved in this.
If you find a Muslim in antartica, then they were insulted.
Thats the bitch about insulting a relgion instead of a nation or culture.
