Again, you are spinning this in to an issue of whether its legal or illegal to protest.
And again...I point out that was not the focus of my initial post.
The first post asked the question
WHY do they feel the need to involve Canada in a matter that originated thousands of miles away in an entirely different country - that has nothing to do with us...other than the fact some share the same religion.
If these extremist muslim protestors feel so strongly - they're perfectly welcome to hop on a plane, fly over there...and protest to their hearts content. Despite the fact I think this whole issue is sheer nonsense and lunacy to begin with - let them go deal with the issue where it originated.
The utter stupidity of protesting against a nation based on a few simple cartoons published by a privately-owned newspaper is purely indicative of the mindset of these people. Based on the stupidity factor alone, we'll wait and see how long before these 'peaceful protests' and whatnot turn ugly here in Canada.
I'm sure time will bear this out.
